Legendary Built is partnering with RoughRiders Softball to host a camp for softball players 10u-12u! Polish your skills in catching, hitting, & fielding with highly experienced coaches who want to illuminate players skills.

Softball Camp will be instructed by Axie Estrada & Haley (David) Finleon on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Blue Sport Stable from 10am - 2pm.

Meet The Instructors

Axie Estrada

Axie Estrada was born in Tucson, AZ and raised in Erie, CO. She has been playing softball since she was 3 1/2 years old, competitive softball since she was 9 years old. 

Axie is an accomplished competitive and collegiate softball player, winning 2 state titles and a runner up at Erie High School under Bob Bledsoe; and being awarded 4-year varsity letter, 4 year All-state, 4 year All-conference player and All Colorado MVP honors. She is also on the Erie athletic wall of fame. Axie played competitive ball for Triple Crown 18 Gold, winning the Triple Crown World Series Championship in 2007. She went on to sign a Division I scholarship and play at UNLV, finishing her collegiate career playing at Central Arizona College and graduating with 3 degrees.  

Axie brings multiple years of experience as both an assistant coach at Niwot High School under Bobby Matthews in 2015, as well as his assistant coach for American Freedom from 2014-2017. 

She is also apart of many associations including; Colorado FastPitch Draft founded by Luis Martinez and 1953 Pro Gloves founded by Left Perez. Axie also manages a Legendary Built coed and World’s Men’s Slow Pitch team as well assembled around family.

She is also the owner and lead instructor for Legendary Built, established in 2012, specializing in catching, hitting, and fielding with extensive knowledge of how to prepare her players for both the High School and Collegiate levels and looks forward to helping her athletes develop the necessary skills to succeed at all levels. 

Haley (David) Finleon

Haley (David) Finleon was born in Boulder, CO and raised in Erie, Colorado.

Haley is a 2011 graduate of Erie High School. During her high school career she competed in softball, basketball, and track (earning 11 total varsity letters). During her career, they brought home 4 state championships in softball (3 in class 3A, 1 class 4A), 4 conference championships in softball, and 1 state championship in track (400x1M Relay, Spring 2009). In addition, she garnered All-Tri Valley Conference honors in 2009 and 2010 and was named to the all-state team as a senior in 2010. She was named Female Athlete of the Year her senior season and holds a place on the Erie athletic wall of fame. 

After high school, Haley earned a scholarship to Colorado State University from 2011-2015. She graduated with a degree in Health and Exercise Science. At CSU she was a member of the CSU Director of Athletics Honor Roll (Fall 2012-Spring 2015), received The Mountain West Academic All Conference Award (Fall 2012-Spring 2015), and the Colorado State Rams Scholar Athlete Award (Spring 2012 & Spring 2014). At the end of her senior season, Haley received the National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American Award.

Both Axie and Haley were invited to coach at Erie High School in 2019-2021 helping contribute to the #12 title in 2019.
